TORONTO, September 19, 2008/ - Forklift accessories are reaching a new height and potential as MasterLift today announced their decision to develop a “Pimp My Lift” 2009 calendar. Due to overwhelming interest in and near-cult following of their pimpmylift.ca microsite, MasterLift has decided to provide its fans a “Pimp My Lift Girl” calendar. MasterLift is putting out a call to fans to help chose their favourite 2009 “Pimp My Lift Girl” through www.pimpmylift.ca.
Votes for the 2009 calendar have already started to come in. Fans are invited to visit the “Pimp My Lift” website to view the 14 beautiful models, and vote for their top 12 participants. Voting closes on November 30, 2008 and results of the polling will be released on Monday, December 1, 2008. The 2009 “Pimp My Lift Girl” and 11 lucky finalists will be selected to be featured in the calendar. In addition to being the face of the 2009 calendar, the winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to South Beach, Miami.
“I don’t think it’s too much to claim that this project was different than nearly every other photo shoot,” said Gary Wilson, president, MasterLift. “It’s not often models come to a warehouse to pose with forklifts. Each shoot was crazy and creative in its own way. Without a doubt pimpmylift.ca and the “Pimp My Lift” calendar are a success story for all those that have been associated with it. We hope the calendar, like the website, will bring an updated image to forklifts. Pimpmylift.ca has become an icon for this industry, with just as many women as men ‘pimping’ their new forklift.”
The calendars will be available for pre-sale until December 31, 2008 for CDN$9.99 or CDN$14.99 thereafter. A portion of the net proceeds will benefit Threads of Life, a nonprofit organization assisting in the aid and healing of families affected by workplace
fatalities, life-altering injuries and occupational disease. You can purchase calendars and other Pimp My Lift products at www.pimpmylift.ca, as well as check out videos, pictures and “pimp” your own forklift.

MISSISSAUGA, ON, May 9 /CNW/ - The pilot premiere of Forked Up, a sexy new reality show, drew an audience of 400 to the Mississauga Silver City theatres last Wednesday night. The star? A hot, customized forklift truck.
Riding a wave of worldwide attention since its launch last year, MasterLift's sensational pimpmylift.ca campaign has propelled the once mundane equipment industry into the media eye. After igniting the forklift revolution in 2007 with its colourful web campaign, MasterLift now turns to TV, taking viewers behind the scenes to meet the innovative team whose eye-catching custom lifts have been turning heads.
"I believe it's going to be a great success," said Cindy Csordas of CHCH TV. "I love the fast paced editing and quick shot sequencing."
Produced by award winning Bradford Productions of Toronto, Forked up is an up close and personal look at the colourful characters at MasterLift who transform beaten up, haggard-looking forklifts into cool machines with hot paint jobs and chrome accessories. Bradford is known for producing many well known programs including the wildly successful "Motoring" as seen on TSN for the last twenty years.
"This project is exciting, fresh and fun and it's the only show of its kind." says Brad Diamond, executive producer. "Not only will it attract those familiar with the forklift world, but anyone who's ever worked in a factory or
warehouse; and that's a huge audience."
The show also takes viewers on the road to pimpmylift.ca promo events, concerts, charity events, candid scenes of forklift repossessions and even pauses for memories of celebrities who used to drive forklifts.
"Bradford Productions has created a show that will appeal to everyone." says Gary Wilson, president of MasterLift. "The Forked Up pilot was test marketed to males and females with ages ranging from 14 to 70, and without exception they wanted to see more."
Discussions are now taking place with a number of networks to release the show in fall. In the meantime, a sneak peak can be viewed at www.forkedup.com.

TORONTO, Feb. 29 /CNW/ - Pimpmylift.ca proudly presents the "The Choclair Experience", featuring Canadian rap/hip hop star, Choclair. The 28 city tour began February 27th in Whistler, British Columbia and will end on April 12th in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
The Pimp My Lift brand was launched in 2007 by MasterLift, a Canadian
forklift manufacturer and dealer, and has enjoyed tremendous success to date.
Pimp My Lift has developed a growing following on its website, where visitors
virtually create their own "pimped out" forklift, choosing everything from
custom flames, exhaust pipes and chrome rims to 8-ball shifters. There's also
the option to post the designed forklift on the website for the chance to win
prizes.
Choclair, who has won 4 Juno Awards which honour the very best in
Canadian music, was very excited at the opportunity to collaborate with
Pimpmylift.ca. "Having grown up around blue collar workers and forklifts,
there's this 'cool' factor surrounding the brand and it speaks to the audience
I'm reaching out to," states Choclair. "Music is about individuality and
self-expression, just like Pimp My Lift. I'm thrilled to be involved in
something that captures the spirit of individual character, creativity and
freedom."
Imagine a DJ with turntables on the forks of the customized forklift on
stage surrounded by models dancing to the Choclair beat. These pimped out
forklifts will be featured on stages throughout the tour.
"We're thrilled to bring our global Pimp My Lift.ca community and
Choclair's Canadian fan base together for this very exciting event," says Gary
Wilson, President of MasterLift. "One branding opportunity we are looking
forward to is the combined Pimp My Lift.ca and Choclair Experience clothing
line."

"My mother used to tell me that if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything," says Gary Wilson, whose company, MasterLift, will be donating a percentage of every lift truck sold over the coming year.
"Workplace safety is an issue for all of us, and it's something we can stand for. It's an honor to support an organization like Threads of Life and help eliminate life-altering workplace injuries, illnesses and deaths."
The gift was received with open arms by Threads of Life, who said it couldn't have come at a better time.
"Threads of Life is very pleased with its new relationship with MasterLift," says Shirley Hickman, Executive Director of Threads of Lift. "It is our hope that this new partnership will pave a way for other Canadian businesses to help support families who have been personally impacted by a tragedy in the workplace. Only by working together, will we raise awareness of the importance of workplace health and safety."
MasterLift was born in 2000 from the merger of Kap Lift and Master Lift and the subsequent acquisitions of Quick Lift and First Choice Lift Trucks. In addition to MASTERLIFT forklifts, the company leases, rents and sells MasterPallet movers, MasterPower industrial batteries, sweepers, scrubbers and offers MasterTrack Fleet Management System to small and large companies across North America.

OAKVILLE, ON, July 13 /CNW/ - Just three months after launching "Pimp My Lift" (www.pimpmylift.ca) Masterlift has delivered its 20th truck to the front lines of the loading dock revolution - and its customers couldn't be happier.
"I love it," said Andy Yeh, president of Golden Leaf Automotive (GLA) whose brand new Masterlift was "pimped out" with chrome wheels and painted yellow and black to match the color scheme on his company's showcase '70 Chevelle. "It's a workhorse, an employee perk and a marketing tool, all rolled into one."
MasterLift president Gary Wilson said GLA isn't alone in recognizing the value of a customized lift truck. "It's the same for most of our customers; they appreciate the added operator compartment features and the overall esthetic bling, but these trucks make a statement that you can't buy anywhere else."
Wilson said interest in "pimped" lifts has been overwhelming with calls for franchise opportunities coming in from across North America; purchasing inquiries, he said, have been equally strong. At the same time, requests for merchandise from the worldwide ranks of forklift operators have flooded the Masterlift website with hits registering from across North, Central and South America, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Europe.
In response, MasterLift launched its "Pimp My Lift" online store this week (http://store.pimpmylift.ca/). T-shirts, hats, and "forklift couture" sweat pants are available to drivers everywhere at revolutionary prices ranging from Cdn $13.99 to $19.99.

"Pimp My Lift" forklifts hit market fast and furious.

OAKVILLE, ON, April 13 /CNW/ - Say goodbye to Mitsubishi green and Caterpillar yellow; the next generation forklift has airbrushed flames and is
available today in fire engine red, lighting blue, or zebra stripe black and white - chrome mags optional.
"Pimp My Lift" (www.pimpmylift.ca) is the brainchild of Masterlift, an Oakville-based lift dealer and manufacturer determined to corner Canada's multi-million dollar forklift market through a combination of superior product, superior service, and superior bling.
"It's not enough anymore to be the best forklift on the market," says company President Gary Wilson, who has led the transformation of Masterlift from bit player to industry contender in just a few short years. "You've also got to be the best-looking forklift on the market. There's a change taking place from coast-to-coast, and we're not only there - we're leading the loading dock revolution."
Wilson says Masterlift's trucks are about more than enhanced corporate image. "The companies we supply have enjoyed a higher employee job satisfaction rate simply by having one of our trucks in their operation," he says. "It's not rocket science. If you're a forklift operator, which would you rather drive all day: A beat up green lift truck or a chromed Masterlift with lightning bolts and flames? I think the answer's obvious. People feel good using our product - and making people feel good is a big part of what this company is all about."
Masterlift was born in 2000 from the merger of Kap Lift and Masterlift and the subsequent acquisitions of Quick Lift and First Choice Lift Trucks. In
addition to Masterlift forklifts, the company leases, rents and sells MasterPallet movers, MasterPower industrial batteries, sweepers, scrubbers and
offers the state-of-the-art MasterTrack Fleet Management System to small and large companies alike.
